IT Epic Beacon Application Analyst

Role Description As an IT Epic Application Analyst, you will implement, optimize, and support our Epic EHR system, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with clinical workflows. - Analyze requirements, configure Epic modules, perform testing, provide training and support, and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with clinical staff. - Possess deep Epic module expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to healthcare technology. - Design, build, test, implement, and support information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs. - Deliver project assignments of medium to high complexity, including application design and configuration build. - Work closely with customers to document requirements and communicate effectively with customers and peers to implement changes. - Support/maintain day-to-day existing functionality/programs/applications. - Perform intermediate system analysis and troubleshooting to implement new functionality/programs/applications. - Analyze/research vendor release notes and documentation; understand complete end-to-end system integration. - Create thorough system design and build documentation. - Analyze the functionality of the system and how it fits with operations; troubleshoot basic problems and recommend appropriate actions. - Translate high-level business requirements to detailed technical designs/documentation. - Collaborate with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership. - Meet with department heads and executives on a routine basis to identify and prioritize their needs. Qualifications - Bachelors in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. - Epic Beacon experience and/or certification required. - 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Clinical, operational, application support and implementation. - Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry. - Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies is required. - Epic Certification, within 120 Days.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • Epic Beacon experience and/or certification required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Clinical, operational, application support and implementation.
  • Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry.

  • Epic Certification, within 120 Days.
