• Serve as a primary EHS point of contact for Canadian BESS projects, with a strong focus on supporting project activities in Ontario • Provide practical EHS advice and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, provincial and local requirements, as well as company standards • Review and contribute to project-specific EHS plans, risk assessments and method statements, job hazard and job safety analyses, safe work procedures, emergency response plans and contractor safety documentation • Conduct site inspections, audits, observations and toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices, identify areas of risk and encourage workforce engagement • Support incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analysis, and the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions • Collaborate with Project Implementation, Engineering and Service teams to embed safety into the design, construction, commissioning and operation of BESS installations • Evaluate contractor, subcontractor and supplier EHS performance, and support the management of identified risks, corrective actions and compliance concerns • Promote a positive EHS culture throughout the organization and its contractor and supplier network • Support environmental compliance activities, including spill prevention and response, waste-management practices and site environmental controls, as applicable • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of EHS programs, standards, procedures and global best practices
• Assist the Senior Service Manager in developing project/daily plans and associated communication documents and coordinating various projects and daily related activities • In charge of resource allocation, including determining schedules, managing, and maintaining spare parts, screening vendors for site projects, etc. • Conduct Risk Assessment and prepare Method Statement documentation • Effectively develop and communicate Health and Safety regulations/qualifications tracker • Develop and regularly optimize standard operating procedures to ensure better efficiency • Manage the Service Team Calibration register and ensure timely announcement of pending equipment calibration, minimizing equipment downtime • In charge of spare parts inventory management and reporting in CMMS, including conducting annual audits, screening vendors and entering contracts on behalf of the company, coordinating delivery schedules, managing contracts and invoices, etc. • Identify the critical path required to achieve a given task and manage it until completion (self-starter, autonomous) • Review and verify documents for completeness, format, and compliance • Oversee purchase requests/purchase orders • Manage company assets (including company vehicles) and properly maintain the company’s relevant insurance policy

Role Description The Director of Business Development, Power Solutions, will be responsible for the Hyperscaler and Data Center Owner/Operator relationships. This technically-oriented business leader will help solve challenges in grid availability, power quality, and energy resilience, offering and negotiating the use of Canadian Solar's critical power infrastructure products. Responsibilities include: - Hyperscale Account Strategy: Map the decision-making matrix within Hyperscale organizations, connecting with stakeholders in Energy Procurement, Site Selection, and Critical Infrastructure Engineering. - Solution Structuring: Orchestrate complex deals involving multiple technologies, ensuring they meet strict SLA and grid interconnection requirements. - Bridge & Off-Grid Power Delivery: Develop and structure interim and off-grid power solutions that bring data center capacity online ahead of utility interconnection. - Gas Generation Sourcing & Partnerships: Leverage and expand relationships across the natural gas generation supply chain to assemble competitive solutions. - Technical Consultative Selling: Participate in high-level technical sales engagements, demonstrating how our solutions can ensure uptime for critical sites. - Cyber & Control Advocacy: Position our SCADA and control systems as vital cybersecurity assets. - Market Feedback Loop: Act as the bridge between the customer’s technical roadmap and our product engineering teams. Qualifications - 10+ years of technical sales &/or business development experience in the Critical Infrastructure or Energy sector. - Deep functional knowledge of the data center power stack. - Experience selling or managing at least three of the following: - Power Generation (gas turbines, reciprocating engine gensets, fuel cells, or renewables). - Power Conversion Devices (Inverters, Rectifiers, Transformers). - Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). - Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) technologies. - SCADA / Controls & Cybersecurity (OT Security standards). - Preferred focus in Natural Gas Generation. - Working knowledge of the natural gas generation landscape. - Proven track record of closing complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure deals. - Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is highly preferred; MBA is a plus. - Understanding of utility interconnection challenges and regulatory landscape. - Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to work effectively in teams. - Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementing skills. - Ability to travel as required – expected travel requirement approximately 30-50%.
