We are looking for a Strategic Events Senior Specialist to support planning and execution across our entire portfolio of events. In this role, you will partner closely with the strategic events team, design, product marketing, and sales to create amazing brand experiences while also maximizing sales opportunities and pipeline. This role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Events and can be based anywhere in the US. • Support the planning and execution of sponsorship initiatives that enhance Cisco's brand presence and support business growth objectives. • Create and deliver posts utilizing multiple platforms for sponsorship paid & social media amplification. • Oversee hospitality programs tied to sponsorships, including ticket inventory management and on-site guest experiences. • Partner with sales executives and field teams to integrate sponsorship opportunities into the sales cycle. • Ensure all sponsorship activities adhere to Cisco policies and guidelines.

• Plan and manage all aspects of events, including project timelines, budgets, logistics, and coordination with cross-functional teams. • Identify venues and vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee all logistical needs such as catering, transportation, décor, audiovisual, and accommodations. • Lead on-site event execution, serving as the primary point of contact while ensuring smooth setup, delivery, and breakdown. • Monitor attendee experience, address issues in real time, and gather feedback to improve future events. • Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability in partnership with the finance team. • Conduct post-event evaluations, analyze performance data and ROI, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
