• The Staff Attorney supports the Legal Department by drafting, reviewing, updating, and negotiating client agreements; advising on privacy and data protection matters; and conducting research on legislative, regulatory, and compliance developments. • Leverages strong research, writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting the organization’s legal and regulatory interests. • Delivers clear compliance information to internal stakeholders and develops creative, compliant solutions to support business objectives. • Liaison with Market leaders as well as members of Internal Audit, Business Development, Client Solutions, Human Resources, Project Management, Finance, Operations, Information Technology, and Marketing to advise on legal matters. • Create, review, modify, update, negotiate, and maintain contracts, agreements, and other legal documents on behalf of OneDigital, including but not limited to: Internal HR Communications and Policies, Client Agreements, Vendor and Carrier Agreements, Other agreements as needed. • Oversee the update and maintenance of contract templates as needed. • Maintain familiarity with and utilize contract management software to manage agreements, templates, and workflows. • Provide analysis and counsel on federal and state legislation that can impact the business, including but not limited to: Labor & Employment Law, Employee Benefits Law, Insurance Licensing, Data Privacy & Security, Contract Law. • Participate in the definition of corporate policies, procedures, and programs and provides continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and their implications. • Provide general legal research on various matters for OneDigital and affiliated companies. • Provide litigation and dispute resolution support for cases involving OneDigital or OneDigital client matters. • Provide strategic support to VP of Legal and Compliance and function as part of a national team to meet the overall objectives for the legal team.
• Provide written translation services for legal documents including letters, reports, website content, posters, brochures, general information documents, correspondence, etc. • Preserve the original content, meaning and tone of the document. • Translators must accurately depict cultural sensitivity and clarity. • Edit and proofread translated documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to legal terminology. • Must be able to conduct a Quality edit proof process when assigned for review. • Translators are required to follow style guides, glossaries, and our clients’ preferences. • Ensure confidentiality and security of all translated materials. • Stay up to date with legal terminology and industry’s best practices. • Other duties as assigned.
