Role Description The Financial Benefits Analyst supports all aspects of financial analysis related to clients’ benefit programs. The Financial Benefits Analyst works closely and collaboratively with other members of the financial support team to provide support to Account Manager(s) and Sales Team. Deliverables will include benefit and financial illustrations that allow clients to properly evaluate their benefit plans. - Identifies risk in existing benefit plans through the use of data analytics, illustrates the results and provides actionable insights and potential solutions to mitigate the risk through data analytics. - Mines data from primary and secondary sources, cleaning raw data and eliminating duplicates and errors to ensure high-quality data integrity. - Creates and maintains documentation of analytics processes for management to understand the data analysis process as needed. - Designs analysis tools and develops analytic models and processes that aid in analyzing data and mapping trends, streamlining processes and patterns using existing resources available. - Provides oversight and training for future data analysts. - Collaborates with the Account Managers to review client utilization reports and identifies opportunities for plan design and product changes based upon utilization patterns. - Drafts accurate exhibits for quarterly and annual client meetings. - Drafts client reports using various carrier reporting methods; analyzes data and identifies opportunities for plan design and product changes based upon observed utilization patterns. - Drafts monthly reporting deliverables for clients. - Develops and maintains strong working relationships. - Maintains accurate, current, organized and complete information in internal database. - Assists team and clients as necessary with special projects. Qualifications - Ability to analyze data and recognize analytical patterns. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to effectively handle multiple and changing client priorities and deadlines. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - 2-3 years of experience. - Bachelor’s degree, required; Business, Finance, Math, Accounting or related field, preferred. - Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, required. - Advanced/Expert Level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, required. - Experience in the healthcare industry working for a group insurance carrier, broker or consultant, preferred. - Knowledge of group insurance including medical, dental, CDHP, pharmacy, life and disability products, strongly preferred. - Experience with database applications, a plus. • Leads development and oversees execution of client data and analytics strategies. • Conceives, plans and conducts actuarial studies. • Ensures a financial forecasting system which generates accurate projections relative to cost, claims, administrative expenses, underwriting gains/losses. • Devises, collects, maintains, and reports financial and statistical information required to monitor cost and utilization trends. • Independently determines methodologies and approaches for projects. • Facilitates client meetings, client presentations and internal team meetings. • Manages timelines, including completion of client deliverables. • Ensures all work products are technically peer reviewed and submitted for consulting review. • Actively communicates project status updates with internal team. • Supports business development activities. • Serves as mentor to staff within the department, monitoring work and providing guidance and support.

• Develops sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies and drives the development of solutions to address complex client issues • Works closely with account management and/or client service teams on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, SPR’s, open enrollment strategy and post renewal analysis • Determines the full scope of services to be provided to client • Clearly establishes and communicates timelines with the client service team(s) and keeps them apprised of changes and renewal updates • Maintains accountability for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects and keeps all involved parties up to date • Monitors the success of projects in terms of scope, budget, timeliness and client satisfaction • Oversees the on-boarding of new clients by working collaboratively with client service team(s) to establish the implementation plan, team and timeline • Ensures client service team(s) exceeds client expectations • Grows book through cross-selling opportunities • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with clients and carriers • Establishes effective carrier/vendor relationships to serve clients in benefits procurement and administration

Role Description This position is responsible for assisting with agency and agent licensing and continuing education compliance. This includes: - Agent licensing, new and renewals - Agent onboarding - CE reminders - Other related licensing duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Order new licenses. - Submit license renewals through vendor or state websites. - Agent onboarding. - Submit affiliation, termination, change of name or address notices to regulators. - Communicate and work with agents regarding licenses and CE. - Other related licensing support. - Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications - Must be willing to work EST hours. - Experience in the insurance industry; licensing experience preferred. - Outstanding administrative and detail skills. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Strong team ethic. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Able to meet deadlines and follow up on outstanding issues. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in insurance licensing. - Intermediate Excel skills. - Some college experience preferred.
