Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance: - Prepare GAAP and statutory (SAP) financial statements and regulatory filings, including NAIC quarterly and annual statements, while ensuring compliance with FASB, NAIC, and state insurance regulations. General Ledger & Financial Operations: - Manage general ledger activity including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end/quarter-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will be tasked with ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of accounting records, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and working cross-functionally to explain monthly variances.
