The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role with Target Guest Marketing Strategy is an opportunity to create clear and compelling strategies and tactics that engage guests at every touchpoint. The objective of this work is to drive enterprise sales, increase market share and deliver an amazing guest experience that is uniquely Target with the long-term goal of increasing loyalty and master brand equity. Additionally, Guest Marketing Strategists provide apply deep understanding of guest attitudes and behaviors to build out industry-leading plans that achieve Target’s business objectives. Through your broad Marketing expertise – grounded in inputs across Enterprise Insights, Media & Marketing Effectiveness, Media Strategy, Finance – you will support pyramid teams and campaigns to maximize relevance and competitive advantage. Your commitment to partnership and collaboration will rally & inspire internal partners across functions. Here, you will be challenged to deliver the compelling, seamless and innovative work that motivates guests to choose Target. The Sr. Marketing Manager, Licensing will play a pivotal role in strengthening Target’s connection to culture by leading strategic relationships with key studios and entertainment properties. This role will drive integrated partnership marketing efforts that bring iconic franchises and storytelling to life across Target’s ecosystem — from merchandising to media — in ways that deepen guest engagement and unlock commercial impact. The ideal leader brings strong partnership acumen, the ability to build and steward senior-level studio relationships, and a fluency in media and cultural moments to ensure Target shows up in timely, relevant, and differentiated ways. This role requires a unique blend of creative and analytical thinking, strong relationship management, and a passion for understanding guest needs and behaviors. You will serve as a cross-functional connector between internal marketing teams, business partners, and external collaborators — ensuring that Target’s marketing investments deliver meaningful guest impact and drive business results. About you: - Four-year degree or equivalent - 8+ years of related work experience in Marketing, brand, media or agency; experience across media, studio, and partnership ecosystems preferred - Curiosity and drive to deeply understand guest needs, and the evolving role brands and products play in consumer lives, driving the business with the ability to interpret and synthesize data into a compelling story - Strong marketing, business and media acumen with ability to leverage data to draft a compelling strategy and investment decisioning to drive measurable results - Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships across internal and external partners, with a track record of influencing stakeholders to move work forward. - Tenacity and courage to champion bold ideas, consistently strive to improve the work, learn from results and be the voice of the guest and business - Brings natural curiosity and a strong understanding of the licensing and entertainment competitive landscape to inform decision-making and strategic recommendations. - Proven leadership skills and ability to collaboratively engage key stakeholders across the organization at the right times to solve complex problems, while keeping partners informed, engaged and motivated to act - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong partnerships - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and competing priorities effectively This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
