Job Description

Senior Full-Stack Developer, Shopify

OnHires

• Build and maintain high-performance Shopify storefronts • Develop scalable Shopify themes and reusable components • Work across the Shopify ecosystem (themes, apps, extensions, Functions, Pixels) • Contribute to headless or hybrid Shopify architectures • Build clean, maintainable frontend and backend solutions • Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams • Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems • Support CI/CD and modern development workflows

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of development experience (10+ preferred)
  • 3–5+ years working with Shopify
  • Strong hands-on experience across:
  • Shopify theme development
  • apps / extensions
  • Shopify Functions
  • Pixels
  • headless Shopify
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Liquid
  • HTML / CSS / Tailwind
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js or Remix
  • Node.js (or similar backend)
  • Git / GitHub
