Role Description Focus Partners Wealth is looking for an experienced Wealth Planner to work with our clients and help them achieve their short- and long-term financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex finances such as investments, security planning, estate planning, tax planning, employee benefits planning, and insurance planning. This role is fully remote. Primary Responsibilities - Conduct client interviews to gather financial information - Analyze financial data to identify planning opportunities - Recommend customized financial plans based on client goals - Monitor financial outcomes and ensure plan effectiveness - Record detailed notes from client meetings - Follow up on meeting deliverables and action items - Respond to inquiries from clients and the VP team - Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills - Exhibit a strong desire to work with and help people - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Create business development opportunities through effective plan delivery - Maintain a commitment to delivering excellent results Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree - 5+ years experience delivering financial plans to prospects/clients - CFP or equivalent - Series 65 or equivalent - Experience with understanding tax planning, reading tax returns and being able to explain tax details to clients - Exceptional organizational and Outlook Calendar Scheduling/Calendar Management skills - Extensive experience with Zoom or Teams - Ability to multi-task complex client situations with ability to follow up in a timely manner - Professional and courteous demeanor - Excellent follow-through and attention to detail - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrates computer literacy and competency in utilizing software applications - Proficient in using Planning software (e.g., NaviPlan, Emoney, Money Guide Pro) Requirements This position is an exempt position. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years experience delivering financial plans to prospects/clients
- CFP or equivalent
- Series 65 or equivalent
- Experience with understanding tax planning, reading tax returns and being able to explain tax details to clients
