Product Marketing Manager
Follett Software
• Develop and Execute GTM Strategies: Define and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches, market expansions, and product updates to drive adoption and revenue growth. • Product Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that clearly communicate the value of our products to target audiences across various channels. • Customer and Market Research: Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. • Content Creation: Collaborate with Content Marketing to develop product-related content such as website copy, product overviews, whitepapers, webinars, case studies, and blogs. • Demand Generation Support: Partner with the Demand Generation team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that generate leads and support customer acquisition. • Sales Enablement: Create sales tools, training materials, and pitch decks to empower Sales and Customer Success teams with the knowledge to effectively position and sell products. • Customer Feedback and Advocacy: Work with Product Management and Customer teams to gather and analyze customer feedback to guide product development, inform go-to-market decisions, and identify opportunities for customer advocacy. • Performance Analysis and Feedback Loops: Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Demand Generation teams to monitor product and campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and adjust marketing tactics to optimize results and meet business objectives. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing or a related role within a SaaS, technology or B2B company
- Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creating clear and engaging messaging positioning complex offerings across solutions sales.
- Ability to distill complex product information into concise and compelling messaging.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Figma, Pendo, Miro, Smartsheet, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, and various project management tools.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
