Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for Mandarin language experts with strong healthcare knowledge, quality assurance experience, and written feedback skills. This role supports collaborations with a leading AI research laboratory focused on improving advanced AI systems through the review and evaluation of Mandarin-language healthcare conversations for medical accuracy, clarity, tone, and contextual appropriateness. Selected professionals will help assess healthcare-related AI conversations, provide structured QA feedback, identify linguistic or safety concerns, and contribute to improving the overall quality and reliability of healthcare-focused AI systems. Key Responsibilities - Conversation Review & Quality Assurance - Review approximately 100 Mandarin-language healthcare conversations per week - Evaluate conversations for medical appropriateness, communication quality, clarity, and contextual relevance - Assess whether AI-generated interactions are linguistically accurate and suitable for healthcare-related use cases - Feedback & Issue Identification - Provide clear, structured written QA feedback - Flag linguistic concerns, tone issues, or safety-related risks in conversation outputs - Support continuous scenario testing through careful review and evaluation - Project Collaboration & Participation - Participate in daily end-of-day check-ins - Complete onboarding and follow structured project guidelines - Contribute to a short-term, high-quality review workflow for healthcare-related language systems Qualifications - Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin - Professional healthcare background - Strong written feedback and communication skills - High attention to detail and strong quality review skills - Ability to assess medical appropriateness and healthcare communication quality - Comfort working independently in a structured remote project environment Preferred Qualifications - Nursing background - Experience reviewing or evaluating healthcare-related conversations, content, or documentation - Familiarity with QA workflows, structured feedback processes, or language review tasks - Ability to identify both linguistic and safety-related concerns in healthcare communication - Comfort working in short-term, scenario-based evaluation environments Contract Details - Independent contractor role - Fully remote with flexible scheduling - Compensation range of $30–$50 per hour - Part-time commitment of 3–4 days per week - Typical volume of approximately 100 conversations per week - Project duration of approximately 2–3 weeks - 30-minute onboarding included - Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise - Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance - Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution - Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time About the Platform This opportunity is available through a leading AI-driven work platform that connects domain experts with frontier AI research projects. The candidate will join our T&E Team and provide full-time support. This position applies for teleworking, but client may require in-person meetings in their location in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities The T&E Engineer will work with other systems engineers, program managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan, execute technology demonstrations, system development testing, operational testing, operational assessment, and other T&E related activities, as well as data analysis and reporting of test and evaluation events.
