We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our growing Finance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in customer billing, collections, and cash application while gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic, mission‑driven company. The Accounts Receivable Associate will support vendor onboarding, client invoicing, payment reconciliation, and customer communications while contributing to continuous improvements in overall accounts receivable operations. Salary Range: Base salary annually, commensurate with experience - Associate level: $70,000 - $85,000 Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S., with travel for events and occasional in-person company gatherings - Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we currently do not sponsor immigration visas. Responsibilities - Generate and deliver customer invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and alignment with contract terms. - Monitor accounts receivable aging and perform proactive outreach to customers regarding outstanding balances. - Apply customer payments daily, ensuring accurate matching and resolving discrepancies. - Communicate with customers to resolve basic billing questions or route issues to appropriate internal teams. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales and Legal to ensure billing accuracy and seamless customer experience. - Support monthly close activities by preparing AR schedules, reconciliations, and journal entries. - Prepare documentation to support audits, compliance reviews, and financial reporting. - Participate in ad hoc projects to enhance AR processes, automation, and operational efficiency. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, desired. - 1–3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience. - Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Experience with accounting/ERP systems. The Escrow Coordinator will be tasked with a variety of duties and responsibilities as driven by work orders from internal departments and/or division partners. Position requires detailed knowledge of operation processes in a variety of risk management products. The Invoicing Analyst - OTC will lead and support key initiatives across billing operations through process improvement, system enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration. In this mid-level role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring accurate and compliant financial transactions, mentoring team members, and driving operational excellence. The Invoicing Analyst - OTC is both strategic and analytical, partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing and contract-related issues, support ERP implementation efforts, and review and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs). Reporting to the Team Lead, the Billing Analyst Center of Excellence provides backup support to Billing, contributes to project workstreams, and champions continuous improvement across billing functions. • Monitor assigned accounts: review aging, look for irregularities, non-payments, and delayed payments in customer accounts • Contact Sponsors/CROs via phone to follow on unpaid/open invoices and ensure timely payments are received • Investigate and resolve sponsor, patient and customer disputes • Maintaining a strong business relationship with the Sponsors/CROs as the primary contact and voice for Sarah Cannon Research Institute in regards to payment of receivables • Reconcile financial study data with data provided by Sponsors/CROs as needed. • Review, interpret and discuss contracts internally and with clients to assist with resolving payment or dispute issues • Review medical procedure invoices in relation to the contracts to determine eligibility for reimbursement of costs • Identify, report on and work with supervisor to resolve trends that negatively impact payment or workflows • Work with other departments (i.e. Accounting, Treasury, Contracting) to resolve billing questions as needed.
