This Position reports to: Head of Inside Sales In this role, you will support our industrial customers throughout the sales phase, ensuring their technical and commercial requirements are met. You will serve as a key tendering resource for ABB Medium Voltage Drives under the Motion High Power Division in the United States. Your role and responsibilities: - Analyze medium voltage drives specifications from various industries and propose the most technically suitable and cost-effective solutions. - Create accurate and timely customized quotes for medium voltage drive products and services. Understand pricing structures and sales process to support the development of a competitive proposal. - Participate in customer meetings to make early influence on the specification and design, or clarify and explain the proposals. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Feeder Manufacturers, External Suppliers, Project Execution/Engineering, etc.) to maximize the impact and influence during the sales phase. - Enhance product and application expertise to position the organization as the regional knowledge hub for ABB medium voltage drives. - Provide tailored and in depth training to both internal colleagues and external customers. - Improve productivity by optimizing the processes and tools. To be successful in this opportunity, you will have: - Experience in customer‑facing roles such as Security Consultant, System Integrator, or System Engineer. - Strong understanding of complex networks, protocols, and networking technologies; CCNA certification (or equivalent) is a plus. - Experience in cybersecurity, ideally in incident management or penetration testing. - Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful training programs for partners to drive solution adoption and sales success. - Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. - Effective problem‑identification and problem‑solving abilities. - A goal‑oriented mindset with solid sales acumen. - Strong work ethic. - Proficiency in written and spoken English. - Availability and willingness to travel. - Experience with ICS (Industrial Control Systems) security projects. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, GICSP, ISA99 Cybersecurity, IACRB Certified SCADA Security Architect, ISO27001 Lead Auditor). - A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Systems, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. The base pay scale for this position is $128,500 - $147,700. This is the range the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account factors including job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, education and training, certifications, and other relevant business factors.
