Physical Security Analyst, IV

Hanger, Inc.

• Reporting directly to the Chief Security Officer (CSO), the Physical Security Analyst IV will join Hanger’s Corporate Security organization which is responsible for managing all aspects of security at Hanger globally. • Responsible for driving a safe and secure environment for all Hanger’s patients and team members by successfully managing day-to-day regional security operations, technology deployment and ongoing support, customer and/or vendor engagements, incident response, and other security related challenges as directed. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional business unit leadership team members, Corporate Security resources and other cross-functional teams. • Build trust with Hanger team members by delivering best-in-class security services. • Successfully manage a large security budget commensurate with the scope and scale of the area of responsibility. • Plan, develop, and implement security plans, policies, and programs, while coordinating with internal and external security partners. • Become the trusted security advisor to senior management and leaders across the organization through high-level communication and excellent briefing skills. • Oversee contracted guard services across multiple locations throughout the region. • Identify and manage emerging threats. • Lead a comprehensive security risk assessments program. • Manage and triage incident reporting and review corporate security investigations. • Lead security incident and crisis response to resolution. • Conduct comprehensive quality checks of all security services. • Monitor vendor Service Level Agreements/ Key Performance Indicators, capacity, and workflow plans for multiple functional areas. • Successfully align metrics, goals, and strategic direction across functional area(s) in support of overall team mission. • Create goal setting, performance management, and retention strategies across multiple teams. • Build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally, developing a vast network of counterparts in both the public and private sectors. • Manage multiple security projects concurrently – establish and track project milestones and deliverables and align key stakeholders. • Lead cross functional teams in construction security planning, design, and oversight for new and existing construction security projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent education or experience.
  • 10 + years of experience with progressive management roles or equivalent experience ideally on a corporate or government security team.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • CPP, PSP, CISSP, PMP or similar certification
  • Strong understanding of crisis operations, risk management, and crisis communication best practices.
  • Substantive experience in physical security and technology.
  • Experience in providing security oversight in a corporate office setting.
  • Experienced in corporate security for a global company.
  • Experience writing and publishing security standards and policies.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time with little to no notice.
  • Skilled in developing Executive level metrics and standard reporting.
  • Experience in conducting basic investigations / fact finding.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deliver security awareness training programs.
  • Understanding of business continuity and incident command system.
  • Experience with the collection and analysis of threat intelligence.
  • Working knowledge of legal contracts, budgeting, and key terms.
  • Skilled in working with law enforcement agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST) and their application.
  • Flexible and collaborative; highly capable of developing consensus among cross-functional teams on key risks as well as influencing the decision-making process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and design appropriate security solutions.
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.
