About the role and what you'll be doing: The IAM Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s identity and access management program by performing day-to-day IAM tasks, assisting with audit requirements, and managing user accounts across various applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of IAM infrastructure, who can review and process access requests, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of security practices. Key Responsibilities: - Provision, modify, and de-provision user accounts and access rights across multiple applications and platforms, including mainframe, cloud, and enterprise systems. - Perform user ID provisioning and access administration for security tools and applications, ensuring adherence to established security policies and procedures. - Capture and record security event logging records related to IAM activities for subsequent review and compliance reporting. - Review and process access requests, ensuring appropriate approvals and alignment with the principle of least privilege. - Assist with internal and external audit requirements by providing evidence of access controls, user provisioning, and security event logs. - Respond to audit questions related to IAM processes and system security, and support security improvement initiatives to meet audit and regulatory requirements. - Participate in the planning, coordination, and implementation of IAM solutions and improvements. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify access requirements and resolve access-related issues. - Document and maintain procedures for IAM operations and access management. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Experience with IAM tools, user provisioning, and access management in enterprise environments. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Familiarity with audit processes, compliance frameworks, and security best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: - Experience with mainframe, cloud, and/or hybrid IAM environments. - Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) as they relate to IAM. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Identity and Access Manager, CISSP).
