Engagement Deployment Specialist

Role Description We are seeking an Engagement Deployment Specialist to join the Engineering People Engagement team. This team is responsible for implementing strategies to connect the Raytheon Engineering population to the mission, Raytheon's success, and internally between the Engineering leadership team and the organization. This individual will be responsible for execution of the Engineering People Engagement strategy. The three primary focus areas are: - Engineering organization communication support - Engagement project management - Digital engagement platform management This individual will be expected to: - Support communications such as the monthly Engineering newsletter and Engineering Highlights. - Support the coordination of engagement content through various Engineering platforms, including but not limited to SharePoint, RTX Connections, and RTX Video. - Partner with, and support, Raytheon Engineering People Engagement lead and Raytheon Communications team to create and implement engagement content that support Raytheon Engineering organizational efforts. - Write, edit, and prepare employee communications, including newsletters, mass emails, and employee meeting materials for dissemination through organizational communication channels, in partnership with the Global Communications team. - Develop and manage new or existing SharePoint sites, as well as the Engineering RTXConnections site. - Leverage the CORE process to develop project or change management plans, process improvements, and knowledge management. - Gather metrics to assess the effectiveness of internal Raytheon Engineering People Engagement activities. - Support Engineering People Engagement events (ex. Town hall, Leader Engagement calls, Skip level discussions, etc.) to support the mission, objectives, and business goals of the organization, as needed. - Travel required 10% for business needs. Qualifications - Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Communications, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. - Experience developing internal engagement and communication strategies. - Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams. - Experience in project management and process optimization. - Experience developing content and delivering material through various communication platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom, Azure, or similar applications. - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
