This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects. The Summer Benefits Intern will support the Benefits team with day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs. This internship provides hands-on exposure to benefits operations, compliance, and employee support while gaining practical HR experience in a professional environment. Responsibilities: - Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, and retirement plans - Support benefits enrollment processes, audits, and data verification - Respond to basic employee benefit inquiries and escalate issues as needed - Assist with benefits communications, presentations, and educational materials - Maintain and update employee records in HR systems - Support compliance activities such as documentation and reporting - Participate in special projects related to benefits and HR initiatives Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field - High level of attention to detail/accuracy. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); HRIS experience a plus - Exercise discretion and good judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. - Positive attitude approaching any task no matter how big/small. - Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Interest in employee benefits and human resources - Willing to travel for Denver, Colorado for the intern kickoff week and possibly the Intern executive presentations. What we are looking for: - Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. - Applicants to be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis from June to August 2026. - Must be willing to commit to a 10-week internship I the Summer of 2026 (June-August) on a full-time basis. - Enthusiastic about technology and committed to professional development. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Willing to learn and collaborate with your teammates. Where: The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position. Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $20.00 USD per hour. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
