Role Description Salem Podcast Network, a division of Salem Media, offers an exceptional opportunity for a Social & Distribution Leader; one who is obsessed with getting content seen. This role owns the publishing operation across platforms—posting cadence, community engagement, packaging, performance tracking, and feedback loops that improve content output over time. You don’t need to be a full-time editor, but you should be comfortable making light trims, selecting thumbnails, writing hooks, and directing editors toward what will drive clicks and retention. We’re looking for someone who is both a craftsman and a systems thinker. Responsibilities - Publishing across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn (based on show strategy) - Daily/weekly content calendar and posting operations across multiple shows - Packaging: titles, captions, hashtags, pinned comments, posting formats by platform - Community engagement and audience interaction (comments, replies, prompts) - Performance tracking + reporting: what hit, what missed, and why - Coordinating with post team to request revisions and optimize clips for performance Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days) - Clean, reliable posting rhythm across all priority channels - Faster feedback loop from social performance → clip strategy adjustments - Improved CTR, retention, and engagement because packaging is sharper - Clear playbook by platform (what formats work, what cadence works, what topics work) Qualifications - 4+ years managing social accounts for a brand, creator, or media property - Strong copywriting and hook-writing skills - Deep familiarity with platform differences (what works on each and why) - Operational discipline: tracking, calendars, deadlines, asset management - Comfort collaborating with editors and giving creative direction Nice to Have - Experience growing a show/channel from early stage to meaningful scale - Basic editing skills (light trims, captions, repackaging) - Experience with YouTube Studio, Shorts strategy, and community tab Benefits - Comprehensive multi-platform solutions portfolio - Uncapped earning potential: competitive base + commission - Research and pre-sales support team - Career advancement opportunities - Award-winning "Great Place to Work" culture - Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO Compensation $75,000 - $90,000 Annually
