Role Description We are looking for an Eastern Regional Sales Manager who will be critical to prospecting and developing new business opportunities across the Eastern U.S. In addition, these individuals will support and collaborate with our dealer network where available and help establish relationships in territories where dealers are not yet present. Key Responsibilities: - Prospecting & Outreach: Identify and engage with government, municipal, and other prospective customers to drive awareness and sales of Harbinger Motors’ EV products. - Dealer Support: Collaborate with existing dealers to support sales initiatives and fill gaps in coverage by proactively pursuing new opportunities. - Territory Management: Travel daily within the assigned region to meet with potential customers, dealers, and partners. - Plant Tours: Arrange and accompany customers on tours of our manufacturing facility in Garden Grove, California, to showcase our production capabilities and product quality. - Sales Strategy: Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a sales plan tailored to the assigned region. - Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales progress in the company CRM. - Out-of-State Travel: Occasionally travel out of state to attend trade shows, training sessions, or support national sales efforts. Qualifications - Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive, EV, or related industries. - Strong understanding of government and municipal procurement processes is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region and occasionally out of state. - Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities. - Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. - A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of EV technology and industry trends. - Experience working with or developing dealer networks. - Familiarity with relevant market nuances.
