Manager, Tax
Warner Music Group
• Prepare and process tax forms, including service tax calculation, filing and remittance • Assist in developing and maintaining tax compliance calendar • Work with local finance to resolve tax disputes • Partner with corporate tax to ensure compliance systems are up to date • Record journal entries for GAAP to stat or GAAP to tax differences • Verify documentation and prepare filing for withholding tax • Calculate roll forward of deferred income taxes • Ensure applicable GL accounts are tied to tax schedules • Prepare other WMG tax reporting schedules as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in international tax, including VAT and/or GST
- Strong work-ethic and effective organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Ability to work under pressure
- Partnering, influencing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese
