Tax Manager
Consulting Firm
• Manage and review high-complexity Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065), focusing on multi-tiered entities and special partnership structures. • Serve as the primary technical advisor for owners and operators of malls, retail centers, office buildings, and large-scale apartment complexes. • Conduct deep-dive tax research to ensure compliance with evolving federal and state real estate tax laws and complex partner allocations. • Direct the development of junior staff members, providing technical training and career guidance to build the firm's internal talent pipeline. • Support firm growth initiatives; benefit from an industry-leading 50% profit-sharing model on all originated client revenue. • Work directly with HNW principals to navigate complex tax implications of real estate acquisitions, holdings, and divestitures.
Job Requirements
- Active CPA License is REQUIRED (or proof of all exam parts passed).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from a top-tier university (e.g., UF, FSU, UM).
- Minimum 3.4 GPA preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Tax Manager is REQUIRED.
- Previous tenure within a Big 4 or Top 100 CPA firm is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mastery of Partnership Taxation and complex real estate tax structures.
- Must reside in South Florida and live within 45 minutes of the Las Olas office (Fort Lauderdale area) for occasional in-person mentoring lunches and strategic meetings.
