Job Description
Product Manager, Optimized Checkout Suite, Buyer Experience
Stripe, Inc.
- Who we are About Stripe Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team The Optimized Checkout Suite (OCS) Team‘s vision is to abstract all checkout from our users by offering them a suite of end to end optimized surfaces and capabilities that delivers so much outstanding value (revenue, lower cost and profit) and control, that our users would deem themselves as irresponsible to not leverage Stripe’s OCS. What you’ll do We’re looking for a product leader to own the buyer experience on Stripe’s Optimized Checkout Suite. In this role you will set the vision, define the strategy, and execute on the roadmap for Stripe to help its users deliver the best checkout experience for the end customer. This will require you to build deep customer empathy with Stripe’s users and their users, propose holistic non-obvious solutions to meet their needs, and to champion those solutions inside and outside of Stripe. Our ideal Product Manager has extensive experience with checkout experiences and payment integrations, has managed complex products, and is obsessed with solving for user needs. They are technical, able to put themselves in the shoes of developers, but also have an acute attention to detail when it comes to user experiences. They operate well in close partnership with their engineering teams, as well as drive initially ambiguously defined projects across the broader company. Deep payments, experimentation and user experience knowledge is a bonus for this role. Responsibilities - Develop the long-term vision and strategy for Stripe’s OCS buyer experience prioritize accordingly, and create an execution roadmap - Deeply understand our users’ needs by spending time with developers, sales, and support, and by observing patterns/trends across their feedback and the market - Propose the right experiments to run to ensure we have the safest and most performant checkout on the internet - Set the pace, prioritization and execution for the team - Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum requirements - Brings 8+ years of experience in a product management role - Has partnered closely with engineers and designers to build products (especially front end surfaces) and complex systems at scale - Has an obsession with product quality and an eye for design - Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility - Brings a desire for continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases - Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems Preferred qualifications - Strong business acumen and comfortable with complex ecosystem and system level problems - Experience with payment integrations is a plus - ML and experimentation experience

Role Description Harness is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Harness Code Repository, a core pillar of the end-to-end Harness software delivery platform. You will own strategy and execution across source control, pull requests, governance, and AI-assisted developer workflows - deeply integrating code into the broader lifecycle (code → build → security → deploy). This is a high-impact, individual contributor role with a strong focus on technical execution, enterprise-grade trust, and developer experience. What You’ll Do - Product Strategy & Roadmap - Own product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Harness Code Repository across repo fundamentals, PR workflows, branch protections/policies, reviews/approvals, permissions/RBAC, and auditability. - Deepen and scale integration across the Harness software delivery platform, strengthening Code’s role as a first-class pillar across the software delivery lifecycle. - Define success metrics and outcomes (adoption, migration velocity, PR throughput, time-to-merge) and drive decisions using telemetry and customer feedback. - AI-Driven Innovation - Define and deliver AI-assisted workflows grounded in repo/PR context that measurably improve developer productivity and code quality (with clear evaluation criteria, guardrails, and launch/iteration plans). - Partner with engineering and design to ensure AI experiences are trustworthy, controllable, and aligned with enterprise requirements. - Customer & Market Insight - Partner with customers to understand how teams create, review, and ship code day-to-day - including collaboration and governance needs - and use those insights to reduce PR friction, improve usability, and guide roadmap priorities. - Drive competitive intelligence across source control and adjacent developer workflow tooling (code review, code quality, policy/governance, security signals, and AI-assisted development); translate insights into clear priorities and differentiation. - Execution Excellence - Write and manage technical requirements/specs; partner closely with engineering on feasibility and architectural tradeoffs to ship high-quality releases. - Drive execution with urgency: anticipate risks, unblock dependencies, and communicate tradeoffs and timelines clearly across engineering, field, and leadership stakeholders. - Collaborate cross-functionally with GTM, PMM, and DevRel to drive adoption and craft technical narratives that resonate with developers and technical buyers. About You - You’re a developer at heart, passionate about improving the end-to-end software delivery experience. - You’re a highly technical PM, comfortable going deep on architecture, scalability, reliability, and systems tradeoffs. - You’re AI-native in how you work: you leverage modern tools (e.g., coding copilots, automation, agents, prototyping/vibe-coding) to move faster, validate ideas, and increase personal and team throughput - while maintaining quality and rigor. - You can define and deliver AI-assisted product workflows with clear guardrails, evaluation criteria, and success metrics. - You’re comfortable operating as the single product owner in ambiguity; you’re execution-driven, accountable, and a crisp communicator. - You move fast, simplify complexity, and deliver predictably with a high quality bar. - You think in platforms and systems, not isolated features. - You thrive in a high-ownership environment - resourceful, biased to action, and willing to roll up your sleeves. Qualifications - BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - 7+ years total experience, including: - 2+ years in software development or engineering. - 5+ years in product management for developer tools, DevOps, SCM, or CI/CD products. - Proven track record shipping complex products with measurable adoption and impact. - Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket ecosystems and CI/quality integrations. - Enterprise SaaS governance experience and/or AI-assisted developer workflows is a plus.
