• Designing, implementing, and managing training programs that leverage subject matter expertise to enhance workforce skills and organizational performance • Collaborating with internal and external SMEs to develop curriculum, deliver training, and assess learning outcomes • Working with Journey Management Analysts/Junior Management Analysts ensuring proper assessment format, number of questions, and the levels of difficulty of the questions • Setting the time allotted to take the test/assessment and make decisions about scoring • Identifying what a test taker/participant must know to be competent in the respective subject and ensure the test/assessment questions align to the course’s Enabling Learning Objectives • Developing independent assessments and evaluation metrics and updates/creates TBKs • Ensuring content aligns with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices • Collaborating with subject matter experts and authors to resolve content issues and improve quality • Validating facts, data, and references to ensure reliability and credibility • Assisting in developing and updating editorial guidelines and templates • Supporting the creation of training materials, manuals, and other documentation as needed • Staying current with industry trends and standards relevant to the subject area
Job Requirements

Internship program dates: June 8 - August 21, 2026 Education Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited program through a university or college General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship): The Scientific Learning Content Intern supports the Commercial Learning & Development (CLD) team by researching, developing, and refining scientifically accurate medical and clinical content for training programs and educational materials. Responsibilities include synthesizing complex scientific information, drafting and editing learner-focused resources, and ensuring alignment with approved messaging and compliance standards. This position collaborates cross-functionally to validate content accuracy, maintain quality, and deliver materials within established timelines. Success requires strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Essential Functions / Scope of Responsibilities – Medical Content Support - Research, synthesize, and summarize scientific / medical information from approved sources (e.g., PI, publications, internal materials). - Support development of disease-state and product-related educational content for L&D resources. - Draft and edit medical content for training materials (slide decks, e-learning scripts, facilitator guides, job aids, microlearning, FAQs). - Translate complex clinical and scientific concepts into clear, learner-friendly language. - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved messaging and claims. - Partner with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance (PRC) stakeholders as needed for content validation. - Assist with updates and revisions to existing training materials based on new data or feedback. - Contribute to content reviews, quality checks, and version control processes. - Support creation of visual learning elements (charts, diagrams, clinical data summaries). - Maintain documentation of references, source materials, and approval status. - Participate in content planning discussions aligned to training priorities and timelines. - Assist with ad hoc medical content requests supporting commercial training needs. Role Description The FLIGHT DECK Leader will play a pivotal role in driving GE Aerospace’s lean transformation by developing and delivering training programs and multi-day bootcamps for the Technology & Operations (T&O) organization. This leader will focus on teaching the FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and coaching teams on their application within the production system to achieve operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Key Responsibilities - Bootcamp Facilitation: - Collaborate on the design and develop comprehensive training materials aligned with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals, including Standard Work, Daily & Visual Management, Value Stream Management, Operating Cadences, Action Planning, Problem Solving, 5S, and Flow/Pull. - Plan and execute multi-day bootcamps to immerse participants in the FLIGHT DECK operating model. - Teach participants how to apply FLIGHT DECK tools and methods to real-world production challenges. - Facilitate hands-on exercises, genba walks, and problem-solving sessions to reinforce learning. - Coaching and Leadership Development: - Provide one-on-one and team coaching to build lean capabilities within the T&O organization. - Mentor participants on how to integrate FLIGHT DECK principles into their daily work and decision-making processes. - Support leaders in developing their Leader Standard Work to sustain improvements. - Continuous Improvement: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine training content and delivery methods. - Promote a culture of learning and improvement by encouraging participants to share best practices and lessons learned. - Operational Execution: - Partner with T&O teams to implement FLIGHT DECK fundamentals within the production system, ensuring alignment with SQDC priorities. - Providing coaching support to kaizen events and problem-solving initiatives to address operational challenges. - Support organization in the understanding, application and sustainment of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in lean manufacturing or transactional processes, value stream management, or continuous improvement. - Strong knowledge of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and GE Aerospace Behaviors. - Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. - Experience designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in complex systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Must be willing to travel up to 50%. Preferred Skills and Experience - Familiarity with tools such as Calendar Choreography, Leader Standard Work and Metric Cascade - Experience organizing and producing large immersive training events focused on in-tact teams. - Experience conducting genba walks and applying lean principles in production environments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on transparency and inclusivity.
