• Champion Cisco products and solutions in the industry, representing our technical leadership at key events and forums. • Integrate a deep understanding of Cisco’s product security capabilities, customers, and market trends to identify new opportunities and adjacencies. • Influence the definition of current and next-generation technologies and capabilities, including post-quantum cryptography. • Guide the integration of customer feedback and industry needs into complex product architectures and cross-product initiatives. • Lead technical engagements with stakeholders, advocating for the value and utility of Cisco technologies. • Articulate the product and technology vision on industry-wide platforms, such as conferences and thought leadership forums. • Drive thorough competitive analyses and derive strategic conclusions to influence internal product roadmaps and business decisions. • Design and implement educational strategies to keep customers, partners, and sales teams informed on new product and technology releases. • Contribute to open-source communities and industry initiatives relevant to your area of expertise. • Engage with stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions. • Lead the creation of whitepapers, blogs, and other content to articulate Cisco's approach to resilient infrastructure and trustworthy technology. • Mentor and guide junior product managers and TMEs, fostering growth and promoting best practices within the team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors + 15 years of related experience, or Masters + 12 years of related experience, or PhD + 8 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping and contributing to global standards for cryptography and/or product security.
  • Extensive experience with technical ownership of complex products, platforms, or solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to or leading open-source projects or technical communities.
  • Proven success influencing product strategy and roadmaps across multiple solutions.
