Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an experienced Director, Data Architecture to lead the design, implementation, and optimization ofour Microsoft Azure and Oracle-based data ecosystem. This role will drive enterprise data strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across Azure Analytics, Databricks, Dremio, Oracle EDW, Oracle Analytics, Oracle GoldenGate, and other relevant platforms. Remote role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central time zones What You'll Do - Architect and implement cloud and hybrid data platforms leveraging Azure and Oracle technologies - Design enterprise data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and common ETL tools - Oversee data governance, compliance, and security following best practices for GRC frameworks - Optimize data warehousing and analytics using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Dremio, Oracle EDW, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) - Lead data migration and integration projects using Oracle GoldenGate, Azure Logic Apps, and Kafka for real-time data streaming - Implement best practices for data modeling, lineage tracking, and metadata management with Microsoft and other tools - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data strategy alignment with business objectives - Build and mentor a team of data engineers and architects, driving innovation and operational excellence What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
