The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in large scale concrete and steel structures, a proven track record delivering fast paced technology / industrial projects, and a passion for advancing low carbon and resilient design strategies. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US where AECOM has an office. Although the position is primarily remote periodic travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other business‑critical activities. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education in Structural or Civil Engineering. - Licensed U.S. Professional Engineer (PE or SE). - 5+ years of professional experience in building structures design and analysis. - Experience specifically in data center, mission critical, or large scale logistics/industrial facilities. - Experience with BIM ACC (Revit), ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, Safe, etc. - Experience with precast concrete systems, steel design, seismic design, and foundation systems. - Demonstrated experience with low embodied carbon materials and sustainable structural design approaches. Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience with data center facilities and familiarity with data center specific design standards and structural resiliency requirements. - LEED, Envision, or active leader in SE 2050 implementation. - Expertise in low embodied carbon materials, sustainable structural systems, and emerging industry best practices - Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teams. - Ability to interpret and apply national and local building codes. Role Description Symetra’s Investment Accounting and Reporting team is looking for a dynamic leader to take ownership of data governance, quality, controls, and automation across our investment reporting ecosystem. As the Data Oversight Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring data used for GAAP, Statutory, and management reporting is accurate, consistent, and audit‑ready - supporting a diverse investment portfolio. You’ll lead the evolution of our data governance framework, strengthen key data quality and reconciliation controls, and drive automation and process improvement using modern tools like Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, SharePoint, and Cadency. Partnering closely with Accounting, Reporting, IT/Data, Internal Audit, Investments, and external vendors, you’ll help reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enable confident, well‑controlled financial reporting.
