Senior Revenue Accountant
Relativity
• Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606, including documenting nonstandard terms • Own key components of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide revenue insights and support deal structuring decisions • Support external audits and ensure revenue-related documentation and controls are buttoned up • Help scale and improve revenue systems, processes, and controls as the business grows • Participate in revenue accounting and quote-to-cash cycle special projects • Support cross-department efforts and build relationships with other teams, including accounting, FP&A, sales, deal desk, and legal
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 + years of experience in Revenue Accounting at a high-growth technology company
- Proven technical knowledge of ASC 606 for Software and SaaS, including usage-based commit contracts
- Proficient in Revenue Systems (Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM , Zuora Revenue)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Robus analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and getting into the details when needed
