Senior AI-DevOps Engineer

Role Description We are hiring a Senior AI-DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team. This role focuses on building and operating a self-service Resource Provider platform, which serves as the single entry point for engineering teams to onboard, govern, and evolve their cloud infrastructure. - Design, build, and evolve reusable cloud provider patterns using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Pulumi) adopted across supplier teams. - Contribute to the platform’s REST API contract layer (Python / FastAPI) to ensure onboarding is reproducible, auditable, and observable. - Build and maintain CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, OIDC-based authentication, composite actions, and shared release patterns. - Partner with consumer and supplier teams to run discovery sessions, document integration patterns, and unblock cross-team delivery. - Track, measure, and communicate platform adoption metrics across teams. - Use AI tooling in daily development workflows and contribute to internal AI-enabled engineering practices (e.g., code reviews, retrospectives, automation). - Participate in a weekly on-call rotation, owning production incident response and contributing to root-cause analysis and systemic improvements. - Produce comprehensive documentation including onboarding guides, runbooks, and architectural decision records (ADRs). Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering, including at least 2+ years working on cloud platforms, infrastructure, or developer tooling. - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, or CDK). - Strong DevOps fundamentals, including CI/CD pipeline design, GitHub Actions (or equivalent), container/Kubernetes basics, and observability practices. - Experience building REST APIs in Python (FastAPI or Flask), including OpenAPI documentation, authentication, and production-grade error handling. - Knowledge of Azure fundamentals, including Landing Zone patterns, identity, and secret management. - Security-focused engineering mindset, including least-privilege IAM, secret rotation, auditability, and dependency hygiene. - Strong written English and experience working in async-first, distributed teams. - Demonstrated senior-level ownership through at least two of the following: - Ownership of a production system end-to-end (design, delivery, and operation). - Leading cross-team initiatives, migrations, or root cause analysis programs. - Mentoring engineers through code reviews, design artifacts, or onboarding materials. - Building reusable platform patterns adopted beyond a single team. Requirements - Experience with Pulumi, including Automation API, provider development, or multi-stack patterns. - Kubernetes access governance experience (RBAC, namespace governance, AKS). - Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001). - Experience building or contributing to internal AI developer tooling (e.g., AI workflows, prompt libraries, coding assistants).
