Security Operations Intern, Summer 2026

• Support the development and documentation of the security program during compliance and audit cycles • Build and maintain security program documentation in Confluence, including SOPs and standards • Translate security roadmap initiatives into audit-ready documentation • Research security frameworks and regulatory requirements and develop decision trees • Assist with compliance preparation, including organizing audit evidence and mapping controls • Support infrastructure and security reviews through documentation and risk identification • Collaborate closely with Security leadership and gain exposure to security program structure and maintenance.

Role Description This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and scale internal security programs within a dynamic technology environment. You will work closely with senior security leadership to coordinate governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives, ensuring policies, procedures, and operational practices align with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives. The role combines hands-on coordination with opportunities for process improvement, audit support, and reporting. - Assist the CISO and Deputy CISO in planning, tracking, and reporting internal security initiatives, including roadmaps, OKRs, and milestone deliverables. - Facilitate and document governance forums such as steering committees, risk reviews, and architecture councils, capturing decisions, owners, and due dates. - Support internal security awareness, training, and communication campaigns in collaboration with HR, SOC, and IT leadership. - Maintain internal risk and compliance workflows, including risk registers, remediation tracking, exception management, and treatment plans. - Coordinate preparation and evidence collection for audits, ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance. - Partner with SOC, engineering, and operational teams to align processes, track remediation, and support security program execution. - Manage repositories of policies, standards, procedures, and control catalogs; assist with dashboards, metrics, and tooling operationalization. • Responsible for configuration management and optimization of critical security infrastructure • Ensure robust cybersecurity defenses for the organization
