Senior Principal – Software Delivery, Software Program Management

• Oversee and drive end-to-end product delivery management lifecycle and release management operations for the Product organization. • This role requires a strategic leader adept at managing complex products, coordinating across numerous technology teams, and implementing best practices to drive efficiency and excellence. • Works in a senior leadership role to lead highly technical product delivery, aligning scope and release planning with strategic business objectives. • Takes ownership and drives teams to quality and on-time delivery using agile methodologies, company-defined delivery standards, and best practices. • Identifies potential risks and obstacles that could impact product roadmap and release timelines. • Proactively identifies and develops dependency and risk mitigation strategies. • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product delivery effectiveness, quality, and overall success. • Facilitate culture of continuous learning by regularly conducting product retrospectives and improving established product delivery standards.

Job Requirements

  • Ideally an internal candidate with knowledge of FICO organizational makeup and products.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • Strong background in full lifecycle delivery for PaaS products and operations.
  • Experience in planning and delivering commercial software utilizing agile processes for multiple public cloud technologies, e.g., AWS, Google, Azure.
  • Practical understanding and application of technical product delivery management and agile development lifecycle in support of PaaS.
  • Experience managing complex dependencies between various teams that play different roles within software releases.
  • Proficiency in identifying and responding effectively to technical risks and issues that may impact delivery.
  • Collaborative style; partners well with cross-functional teams solve problems and to complete complex deliverables within tight time frames.
  • Exceptional facilitation and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Results oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled with Atlassian tools such as Aha! and Jira to track progress of software releases.
  • Scaled Agile Certification is preferred.

Role Description The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our organization as a Senior Program Manager, Island Support within the Center for Advancing Healthy Communities (CAHC) to manage two Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded projects that are being implemented in partnership with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. The populations of the U.S. Territories and Freely Associated States (T/FAS) face disproportionate health challenges, especially from chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease. To address this, the first project – Expanding the Non-Communicable Disease Collaborative in the Islands – provides data-driven, regionally tailored training, technical assistance, and strategic planning support to strengthen prevention, care, and partnerships across T/FAS while fostering peer learning and enhancing strategic plans. The second project – Diabetes Technical Assistance for Island Territories and Freely Associated States – provides culturally relevant, region-specific technical assistance to support CDC DP25-0024 recipients implement evidence-based diabetes prevention and management programs and strategies. Under the direction of the Associate Director for Diabetes Portfolio, this position will guide planning and implementation of project-related activities, coordinate project teams, develop and sustain relationships with partners, and manage day-to-day operations across all projects. The Senior Program Manager will collaborate with the project team, comprised of NACDD staff, subject matter experts, and other vendors. This position may also support other projects, as needed. - This position is grant-funded, with funding secured through July 31, 2026. Continuation of the position beyond this date is contingent upon the availability of continued grant funding, which the organization is committed to actively pursuing. - Applicants must submit a cover letter detailing how their previous experience aligns with the requirements of this position.
