• Join Us as an Engineering Manager! In this role, you will lead and grow a remote engineering team through hands-on technical leadership, coaching, and continuous feedback. • You’ll stay close to the codebase by reviewing pull requests, designing solutions, and occasionally implementing critical pieces yourself. • You will drive architectural decisions and technical direction across backend and frontend systems. • By acting as a multiplier for the team, you will unblock complex technical problems and raise the overall engineering bar, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. • You will continuously improve engineering processes to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability, helping the team work efficiently while maintaining technical excellence. • You will work closely with Product to define priorities, scope initiatives, and deliver meaningful product impact. • Clear and structured communication across engineering, product, and operations will be essential to align teams and achieve shared goals. • You will help build a culture of transparency, ownership, and trust, avoiding micromanagement while maintaining strong technical standards.

• Own team structure, processes, and ways of working, tailoring them to support speed and quality • Mentor and coach engineers in their technical and professional development • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and design • You are responsible for your team’s ability to ship, holding them accountable while providing continuous feedback • Champion strong async communication practices and help your team operate autonomously in a remote-first setup • Actively contribute to improving DEI in hiring, team dynamics, and leadership practices • You’ll support your team by removing blockers, reviewing PRs, and occasionally contributing features or prototypes yourself.

• Build, grow, and lead a world-class team of engineers who build the critical parts of our product through strong hiring, mentoring, and a culture of continuous improvement. • Create the technical vision for Datavant’s ROI products, grounded in both technical excellence and business strategy. • Partner strategically with product and design leadership to shape roadmap decisions, influence product direction, and ensure technical constraints are understood early and often. • Deliver rapid efficiencies with our product through directing how our use cases and business outcomes align with what’s technically feasible. • Be a critical leader in the provider business • Be the champion & driver of product innovation processes & initiatives. • Optimize and scale Agile/Scrum processes to remove bottlenecks and continuously improve how teams ship. • Be hands-on by leading high impact efforts, staying technically current, and demonstrating technical depth through occasional code reviews and architectural decisions. • Be a strong communicator, coach, and mentor.
