The Summer 2026 Marketing & Brand Storytelling Intern will join PM’s Support Center for a 9-week immersive experience at the intersection of brand strategy, digital storytelling, social media, and on-property activation. This internship is hands-on and portfolio-facing. You’ll work directly with the VP of Marketing and Area Marketing Managers, travel to hotels across the portfolio, capture and edit social content, and help tell the stories that bring our brands to life. What You’ll Learn & Do - Brand Storytelling & Content Strategy - Learn PM’s brand voice, positioning, and visual identity across lifestyle and independent hotels. - Assist in shaping property-level narratives that highlight experience, place, and personality. - Translate brand strategy into compelling, platform-ready content. - Portfolio Travel & On-Property Content Creation - Travel with Area Marketing Managers to hotels across the portfolio. - Capture short-form video, photography, and behind-the-scenes moments. - Identify authentic stories—from team culture to guest experiences—that resonate online. - Social Media Content Creation & Editing - Compile, edit, and optimize content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms. - Edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks) and static posts using brand guidelines. - Build content libraries for properties to use beyond your visits. - Campaign Support & Activation - Support seasonal campaigns, openings, promotions, and brand initiatives. - Assist with content calendars and campaign rollouts at the property level. - Help ensure consistency across messaging, visuals, and tone. - Digital Presence & Performance Insights - Review social media and digital performance metrics to understand what’s working. - Help summarize engagement insights and content trends for marketing leaders. - Assist in refining content strategy based on audience response and platform trends. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Operations, Brand Performance, and property teams to align storytelling with the guest experience. - Collaborate with People + Culture on employer-brand and culture-forward content. - Contribute to creative projects that elevate PM’s marketing presence across channels. Qualifications - Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Media, or a related field. - Passionate about storytelling, social media, and brand-building. - Comfortable behind the camera and in the edit timeline. - Organized, curious, and confident working with leaders and hotel teams. - Preferred: Experience with content editing tools (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc.) and social platforms. What You’ll Gain - Hands-on experience working directly with senior marketing leadership. - A deep understanding of portfolio-wide brand marketing in hospitality. - A polished content-driven capstone project for your portfolio. - Real, published work across multiple brands and properties. - A strong pathway into roles in marketing, brand strategy, social media, or creative direction. Internship Details - Program Length: 9 weeks - Dates: June 1 – July 30, 2026 - Location: PM Hotel Group - Format: Remote - Hours: Full‑time | 35–40 hours per week - Compensation: Competitive hourly rate - Reports to: VP Marketing
