Role Description This is a high-impact, highly visible leadership role at the center of MaintainX’s next phase of growth. We’re looking for a Director of Engineering, Network to lead and scale our growth initiatives. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end growth engine—from acquisition and onboarding to activation, expansion, and monetization—while partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering. You’ll build both customer-facing experiences and internal tools and agents that enhance the effectiveness of our Marketing and Sales motions. Additionally, you’ll develop products for equipment manufacturers and service providers, enabling their customers to better maintain and operate their assets. The opportunity ahead is to scale acquisition, accelerate onboarding, and unlock new revenue through product-led growth, experimentation, and marketplace-style network effects. You’ll operate as a true division leader, reporting to VP of Engineering, building systems, teams, and strategies that compound over time, and helping shape the future leadership bench of the company. Qualifications - Proven experience leading growth, onboarding or marketplace teams to deliver consumer or business products. - Track record of building and scaling organizations (with multiple managers and teams); including hiring, performance management, and career development. - Strong technical foundation with the ability to guide architecture, tradeoffs, and execution for complex software systems. - Product and data driven mindset; who uses data, experimentation, and customer insight to drive decisions. - Experience building 0→1 systems and scaling them as customer complexity and volume increase. - Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility. - Experience in building agentic solutions, B2B software, Product Led Growth, Marketplaces is a plus.
