Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring for a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support the VA's DBRS team. Support activities would include: - Monitoring open events - Responding to email messages/questions - Answering phone calls and Teams messages This position will be fully remote within the United States. Responsibilities include: - Providing clients advice and technological solutions to support clients' demands - Performing technology integration or process improvement for a variety of business functions - Conducting extensive research of clients' needs and capabilities - Detailing all support requests, issues, action items, trouble calls, and resolutions - Adding new users and removing old users - Answering calls to field questions concerning the PSETS application - Meeting and interacting with clients to capture and translate business requirements into technical requirements - Developing functional and system design specifications for client engagements - Identifying tools that help the client share information, manage processes, and convert raw data into information - Collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision - Analyzing tradeoffs between usability and performance needs - Staying knowledgeable of current technological advancements and solutions Qualifications - Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience) - Experience supporting the VA and/or DBRS - Ability to work under a high-stress environment at a fast pace with high accuracy - Ability to support a wide range of users with diverse problems, questions, and issues Requirements - Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance Benefits - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Corporate Discounts - Learning & Development platform, including certification preparation content - Training, Education and Certification Assistance (available to full-time employees) - Referral Bonus Program - Internal Mobility Program - Pet Insurance - Flexible Work Environment Company Description GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
