Cloud Standards Board Process Improvement Analyst

• Map current-state processes for standard development, public review, and approval; identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and "waste" (e.g., unnecessary steps, rework, delays) • Help the Core Cloud Standards board team implement actionable projects to enhance quality, speed, and productivity • Ensure all process improvements comply with internal governance policies and external industry standards • Collect and analyze performance data, such as cycle times for standards approval, to measure improvements • Maintain up-to-date process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and visual flowcharts (e.g., via Visio/MDL/git) • Drive the adoption of new processes by communicating changes effectively, conducting training and office hours for users, and providing support to Cloud Standards Body Core staff and users

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2-4+ years of experience in process analysis, process improvement, business process management, or quality assurance
  • Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), or Business Process Mapping or similar methodologies
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, MDL/git) and data visualization/analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau)
  • Experience with work management tools (Azure DevOps (ADO))
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex process changes to diverse stakeholders.
