Role Description The Sr. Systems Analyst will build, enhance, and maintain mission‑critical applications that support key business processes. Working with minimal supervision, this role partners with technical and business teams to translate high‑level requirements into clear solutions, estimate development efforts, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, QA, and vendors to ensure high‑quality, timely delivery. What you will do - Translate user requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with development teams on use cases, flowcharts, and technical designs. - Participate in large system implementations and accurately estimate and deliver assigned tasks. - Analyze and streamline business processes using appropriate tools and methodologies. - Support developers and testers by clarifying requirements throughout the development lifecycle. - Provide procedural and technical guidance to ensure alignment with technical specifications. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues. - Apply systems analysis and design tools and methodologies across multiple platforms. - Mentor associates and contribute to developing and promoting best practices within the Systems Analyst community. Qualifications - You have a high school diploma (required) and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). - Bring 5–8 years of cumulative, relevant experience in systems analysis or related technical fields. - Demonstrate strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills, applying best practices to improve products and services. - Possess solid professional expertise with the ability to navigate internal and external business issues. - Serve as a resource for other team members, providing consultative guidance within your functional area and potentially taking on mentoring responsibilities. - Work effectively with business and technical subject matter experts, developers, systems analysts, QA analysts, and third‑party vendors to ensure deliverables are met. - Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders, including various levels of IT management. Role Description We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems Test Engineer to support Enterprise Management (EM) development, testing, and release validation activities across the Military Health System (MHS). This role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise system testing, scripting and automation, EM release engineering practices, and the ability to troubleshoot complex service interactions across distributed enterprise systems. - Design and execute enterprise level test plans for EM releases, configuration updates, software packages, and automated workflows. - Conduct integration testing, regression testing, compatibility assessments, and validation of EM capabilities across multiple system environments. - Develop and maintain test scripts, automation tools, and validation frameworks using PowerShell or similar technologies to support EM release processes. - Evaluate vendor updates, EM enhancements, and release candidates for stability, compliance, and operational readiness prior to deployment. - Perform root cause analysis for defects, track issue resolution, and collaborate with engineering teams to correct system level problems. - Support release readiness reviews, coordinate with EM packaging and configuration teams, and provide test evidence for approval by authorities. - Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and provide technical impact assessments for EM related changes. - Produce detailed engineering reports, test documentation, validation results, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system diagrams. - Collaborate with Systems Administration, Information Assurance (IA) Security, Architecture, and Enterprise Services teams to ensure integrated testing across upstream and downstream systems. - Perform additional duties as assigned in support of enterprise validation and modernization initiatives. Qualifications - Active Secret clearance - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher - Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT-II requirements (examples in the table include Security+, SSCP, GSEC, etc.) - Demonstrated expertise designing and executing system test plans for enterprise services and large scale environments. - Strong knowledge of Enterprise Management (EM) workflows, including packaging, configuration updates, release sequencing, and automation practices. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and development of automated validation frameworks or similar test automation tools. - Deep understanding of Windows enterprise architecture, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), and cross-system service dependencies. - Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF and DISA STIG configuration compliance requirements. - Ability to troubleshoot complex system integrations and multi-tier service interactions. - Strong technical writing, documentation, analysis, and reporting skills. Requirements - Experience supporting enterprise IT modernization initiatives within DoD or large-scale federal environments. - Knowledge of release engineering principles, Dev/Test automation, and CI/CD concepts. - Experience validating enterprise software packages, configuration baselines, and system integrations. - Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, logging, and reporting platforms. - Ability to brief technical findings and risk assessments to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. - Demonstrated success improving automation, efficiency, and repeatability of validation processes. - Experience with secure cloud architecture patterns in Azure (identity, access, segmentation, logging/monitoring).
