As a QA Lead, you will play a key role in testing modern veterinary software that serves thousands of users in animal hospitals across the globe. Those in this role often take ownership of test plan creation and execution, and have the ability to provide feedback on software quality and product development. You will work closely and provide leadership to a small, cross-functional, highly-collaborative team to deliver quality software that solves real problems for our customers. What You’ll Do - Own the QA lifecycle of software projects from scoping to release - Lead and mentor other QA Analysts - Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for Instinct's software products, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability. - Collaborate with your team to understand requirements and ensure quality is built into every stage of the development lifecycle - Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tracking tools, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team - Conduct manual testing as necessary, focusing on critical paths and edge cases to ensure software meets high-quality standards - Develop and maintain test plans to support regression, functional, and integration testing - Analyze testing outcomes and generate reports to communicate results to stakeholders, recommending process improvements where applicable - Research reported customer issues - Stay current with QA best practices and tools to continuously enhance the testing process and product quality. IT Testing Engineer II About the Position: The IT Testing Engineer II will execute performance testing on multiple different applications and lines of business. Performance testing includes gathering test requirements, preparing a detailed Test Strategy Plan, developing and executing test scripts, preparing results reports, and updating defect tickets.
