Release & Change Control Manager

• Facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage approvals. • Ensure adherence to ITIL-based change and release management processes. • Maintain audit readiness and compliance with regulatory standards. • Plan, schedule, and coordinate release activities across multiple environments. • Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including rollback procedures. • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for changes and releases. • Own and manage the Confluence and Jira platform end-to-end, including migration from on-premises to cloud. • Implement security and compliance checks within release workflows. • Drive adoption of DevOps principles and release automation tools (e.g., Jenkins). • Identify process gaps and implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability. • Track and report release KPIs (success rate, frequency, incident correlation) to leadership. • Collaborate with development, SRE, and business teams to ensure smooth service transitions. • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT service management, release/change management, or DevSecOps.
- Expertise in Confluence and Jira Cloud, including migration from on-prem to cloud.
- Strong understanding of web and API technologies, microservices, containerization, and observability.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and governance standards.
- Hands-on experience with release automation tools (Jenkins preferred).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with release management tools (Jira, GitLab, Bit-Bucket, GitHub, Jenkins).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates a commitment to AI fluency by embracing AI tools and technologies to enhance individual and team performance, decision-making, and innovation.
