Role Description For our Engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/x) with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable backend services and intuitive frontend experiences. You’ll work across our Go-based backend and a standards-driven frontend, delivering reliable, high-performance features that power Refurbed’s marketplace and mobile applications. You’ll ensure our web interfaces meet modern HTML and CSS best practices, accessibility and SEO standards, and provide an excellent user experience at scale. Role Description The Markets Lead – Southern Europe / Northern & Western Europe will play a pivotal role in steering refurbed’s commercial planning through data-driven forecasting and cross-functional collaboration for the respective regional markets cluster. This role connects demand planning, market needs, and marketing investments to ensure marketing spend is aligned with overall market strategy. You will: - Work on demand forecasting processes. - Develop analytical frameworks to project sales trends. - Translate marketing and commercial inputs into actionable plans. - Ensure Refurbed’s markets remain agile, sustainable, and growth-focused. - Work closely with performance marketing, category & supply teams, CRM, product, and other commercial teams. Qualifications - 5–7 years of experience in commercial strategy, performance marketing, marketing analytics, or demand planning within e-commerce or marketplace environments. - Strong quantitative and analytical skills; advanced Excel and Looker (or equivalent BI) proficiency. - Solid understanding of marketing metrics and e-commerce funnel KPIs. - Demonstrated deep expertise in Southern European / Northern & Western European market dynamics (cultural, commercial, and competitive). - Able to translate local consumer behavior into marketing strategy; native-level understanding preferred. Requirements - Southern Europe focuses on scaling growth in developing and high-potential Mediterranean markets with strong localization and brand-building needs across Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, and Greece. - North Western Europe focuses on accelerating growth and competitive positioning in mature, high-value markets across Ireland, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. • Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered internal tools and systems that enable refurbed to operate as an AI-native company under our AI & Tech Transformation program. • Act as a product-minded senior back-end engineer for internal AI across teams to identify opportunities, architect solutions, and directly build the back-end services and integrations that embed AI and automation into how employees work. • Partner closely with the Head of Internal Technology & AI on strategy, planning, and execution while providing technical leadership to teams, working closely with core platform Engineering for support. • Measure success in this role by productivity improvements, enabling new capabilities, and adoption of AI tools and new ways of working across the company.
