Role Description The Digital Banking Relations Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between our product platforms and our institutional banking and fiat payment partners. This is a strategic, external-facing role responsible for maintaining trusted relationships with commercial financial institutions, the development of new financial institution relationships, navigating regulatory requirements, and ensuring seamless fiat on/off-ramp connectivity. Reporting to the VP of Payments, the Digital Banking Relations Manager will be responsible for the following: - Lead the onboarding process from beginning to end - Find, evaluate and onboard new financial partners, including conducting due diligence, documentation, and compliance coordination - Build and manage relationships with banks, payment processors, custodians, and fiat infrastructure providers across multiple regions - Serve as the main liaison for day-to-day coordination, issue resolution, and reporting between the company and its institutional banking partners - Collaborate with internal teams (compliance, legal, finance, operations) to ensure banking requirements are met and integrated - Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones - Monitor bank partner performance (SLAs, service levels, etc.) and resolve operational or risk-related escalations - Track and interpret regulatory updates and assist in shaping policy responses - Maintain a strong understanding of both fiat and digital currency infrastructure, including stablecoins, KYC/AML frameworks, and global fiat rails - Support cross-border fiat liquidity and treasury operations from a digital banking relationship perspective - Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in U.S. banking, treasury, crypto operations, or fintech partnerships - 3+ years of experience in client onboarding with financial institutions - Prior experience working with or inside financial institutions or a high-risk industry, ideally in correspondent banking or fintech client onboarding - Project management experience is an asset - Strong understanding of AML/KYC, payments compliance, and fiat-crypto risk frameworks - Having a strong understanding of various commercial banking products in the US - Familiarity with wallets, stablecoins, crypto exchanges, and DeFi - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly across technical, operational, and executive audiences - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global remote, cross-functional startup or growth-stage environment - Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications a plus Benefits - Work from home - A competitive salary - Diverse and dynamic work environment - Work-life balance and support for career development

Job Requirements
