• Develop sales activity within assigned segments/channels by presenting solutions to existing and prospective clients through outbound prospecting. • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking at trade shows. • Qualify prospects based on BANT criteria, ensuring they meet the target customer profile and schedule qualified appointments for Business Development Managers (BDMs). • Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of Geotab’s offerings to accurately assess prospect requirements as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). • Work closely with Partner Account Managers (PAMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), and Sales Managers to proactively manage the pipeline and gather essential customer intelligence.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, with 2-3 years specifically in outbound outreach preferred.
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with outbound outreach utilizing sales engagement tools like Salesloft or Outreach.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate technical solutions to meet customer requirements and navigate CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to persuasively communicate over the phone and develop rapport quickly.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a flat organization.
- Knowledge of fleet management, telematics, and channel sales is highly valued.

Role Description The Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) is a front-line, outbound sales role responsible for initiating conversations with new prospects and existing customers to identify qualified sales opportunities. This role is focused exclusively on cold calling, relationship re-engagement, and lead qualification, serving as a critical pipeline engine for the sales organization. Customer Engagement Specialists do not close deals. Their primary objective is to uncover interest, qualify opportunities, and submit high-quality leads to Aesthetic Consultants and Executive Aesthetic Consultants for follow-up, demonstrations, and closure. Location: Although remote, applicant must reside in Denver, Colorado. About the Pay: $70-80K salary, however there is the potential to earn up to $100-$120K in total compensation. Position Impact: The Customer Engagement Specialist is the engine of the sales pipeline — driving new conversations, identifying qualified opportunities, and fueling growth across the region.
