Capital Project Planning Analyst

• Engage to understand client business requirements and data to advise users on the right analytics to communicate the intended message to the target audience • Responsible for a range of analyst activities from simple and efficient data entry, management, and analysis to complex financial modeling exercises in Excel and Smartsheet • Generate business intelligence reporting and analytics to support telling the story of the data • Manage the identification, prioritization, and remediation of data quality issues • Participate in the design and development of technical solutions to ensure that business requirements are satisfied • Participate in and lead weekly client meetings as assigned in support of the Capital Planning process • Create complex formulas and nested functions while developing dynamic dashboards and interactive reports using PivotTables and Pivot Charts • Design and maintain complex financial models and forecasts while working with large datasets and optimizing spreadsheet performance
Job Requirements
- Degree/diploma or relevant educational background in statistics/data analytics/computer science or general degree with data/analysis focus with 3 to 4 years of working experience in data and digital delivery-oriented roles
- Demonstrated ability to create complex formulas and nested functions (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
- Experience developing dynamic dashboards and interactive reports using PivotTables and Pivot Charts
- Proven ability to design and maintain complex financial models and forecasts
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize spreadsheet performance
- Excellence in relationship management with deep understanding of organizational structures including developing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Experience navigating complex corporate hierarchies and matrix structures effectively
- Must be familiar with real estate department enterprise management business
- Advanced use of Smartsheet
- Understanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverables
- Able to think logically, organize workflows efficiently, and solve problems independently
- Outstanding communication skills—oral and written
