In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to resolving technical issues and providing operational guidance. You’ll play a critical role in managing complex projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, and ensuring mission success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives. • Act as a project leader at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams. • Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. • Resolve technical and operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders, including quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, and program management. • Provide operational guidance for current and proposed projects, maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders and customers. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. • Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to senior leadership and government stakeholders. • Provide strategic advice based on best practices, personal experience, and/or subject matter expertise to project teams, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. • Consult with clients to define project requirements, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to complex challenges. Qualifications: Required: • Active SECRET Clearance. • 14+ years relevant project management experience without a degree. • Ability to initiate, supervise, and manage projects from inception through completion, including complex and mission-critical programs. • Ability to manage expectations and communicate with stakeholders on project requirements definition, data analysis, and problem resolution. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations for senior officials. • Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment, demonstrating strong self-motivation and communication skills to ensure seamless team integration and productivity. • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement, demonstrating an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Desired: • 10 years of relevant project management experience with a MA/MS in a technical field. • Experience briefing senior officials on project status and risks/opportunities associated with safety, quality, schedule and cost. • Familiarity with subcontractor management, including developing Statements of Work, monitoring performance, managing deliverables, and maintaining project documentation in a complex project environment. • Ability to apply fundamental project management principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative strategies. • Familiarity with the Maritime Industrial Base organization, mission, and key partners. • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). • Experience working with Smartsheet, Palantir Foundry, SharePoint, and Office 365 applications. • Experience using AI to develop products like SOWs and RFIs. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Role Description GFT is seeking a Project Manager for our Buildings + Places Federal Market. This PM reports to the B+P Projects & Program Management Discipline Lead. This position manages all aspects of project execution including budget, scope, and schedule while leading the project delivery team. This PM is our primary POC for client engagement and is responsible for providing excellent customer service. Additionally, this position assists with identifying new federal business opportunities and leads project-level proposal development. This position can be remote.
