Analytics Director – CAHPS, HOS

• Lead the end-to-end analytics for CAHPS and HOS, ensuring clarity, rigor, and timeliness across all deliverables • Oversee core capabilities including: Survey measure forecasting and performance modeling, Member-level and plan-level insights, Response likelihood models and risk profiling, Promoter/detractor segmentation and experience drivers, NLP-based insights from CAHPS Gaps, Pulse, and other feedback sources, • Connect analytics insights to operational strategy with clarity, accuracy, and executive-ready storytelling • Serve as the primary analytics partner to Stars CAHPS/HOS leadership, aligning on objectives, informed risks, and strategic opportunities • Act as a thought leader to shape strategy, identify innovation opportunities, and translate evolving business or regulatory needs into actionable analytics roadmaps • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across Stars, Stars-adjacent teams, product, clinical and operational partners, and enterprise analytics groups • Provide analytics oversight related to CAHPS/HOS vendor partners ensuring methodological rigor, data integrity, and performance accountability • Contribute to modernization and long-term capability planning (e.g., new modeling approaches, new data sources, platform/tool enhancements) • Prepare and deliver materials for the highest levels of company leadership, ensuring alignment of message, timing, confidence, and risk framing • Synthesize complex analytics into clear narratives that support informed decision-making in high-stakes settings

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Public Health, Health Policy, Business, Analytics, Statistics)
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, quality measurement, or Medicare Advantage Stars
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership of high-performing, multidisciplinary analytics teams
  • Proven experience leading complex analytics portfolios and driving long-term strategy in a matrixed, consensus-driven environment
  • Experience preparing and presenting analytics to executive audiences, with strong narrative-building and communication skills
  • Demonstrated consulting mindset: ability to translate needs into solutions, frame insights clearly, and influence cross-functional partners
  • Experience with survey-based quality measurement, including CAHPS, HOS, or similar member-experience/statistical survey methodologies (Preferred)
  • Direct CAHPS/HOS expertise strongly preferred; candidates with Stars quality experience and demonstrated ability to learn quickly will be considered (Preferred)
  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Services Research, Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related discipline (Preferred)
  • Experience building predictive models, NLP pipelines, or segmentation frameworks (Preferred)

The Sr. Director of marketing strategy is responsible for a team that develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives that drive financial and operational performance across their respective lines of business. The role will partner with executive leadership in product development, sales, HR, operations, business strategy and the Protective Foundation to leverage insights and build go to market plans. This role will be titled "Sr Dir Prod & Channel" within our organization. Responsibilities - Translates divisional strategy into actionable marketing plans that deliver measurable impact on business performance. - Leads teams of line of business marketing strategists, ensuring alignment and integration of marketing initiatives across multiple segments. - Maintains comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards, market dynamics, and regulatory environment. - Applies commercial insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in marketing approaches. - Drives financial and operational performance through effective resource allocation, cost-benefit analysis, and oversight. - Negotiates with and influences senior executives within and outside the department to ensure strategic alignment and common, achievable goals are set for the department.
