Role Description We are seeking a Program Manager, Volunteer Engagement, to join our team. The Program Manager, Volunteer Engagement is responsible for advancing volunteer engagement across ASME by providing oversight for the Community Engagement Center and Volunteer Hub and working with business units across the organization that engage volunteers to ensure effective use of these platforms and implementation of best practices around volunteer engagement. In addition, the Program Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, overseeing, and implementing the ECLIPSE early career leadership development program. - Partner with stakeholders to define the Volunteer Hub vision, goals, and success metrics aligned to business objectives. - Own the overall effectiveness and adoption of the Volunteer Hub. - Serve as the voice of the internal customer, translating stakeholder needs into platform enhancements. - Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to manage the Volunteer Hub and related modules. - Champion platform best practices, data governance, and user experience standards across Salesforce processes. - Lead change management, training, and communications to drive adoption of platform enhancements. - Provide staff oversight for the ECLIPSE Early Career Leadership Program, including participants, committee members, and alumni. - Partner with the ECLIPSE Committee to support program governance, applications, and participant experience. - Collaborate with sector leadership to place ECLIPSE participants in annual assignments and support coaching efforts. - Develop and manage annual ECLIPSE program plans, schedules, and key activities. - Design and deliver orientation and leadership training and support group projects throughout the program year. - Manage the ECLIPSE program budget and lead marketing, communications, and outreach, including recruitment materials, website updates, and alumni engagement. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in volunteer management, training and development, facilitation, or project management. AMT is led by the Doris Duke Foundation in partnership with Mozilla Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Ford Foundation. Together, the collaboration demonstrates how philanthropy can cultivate field-level change by positioning performing artists as co-creators of technology — not simply end users. This is a highly collaborative, operationally rigorous role that bridges field-building, grantmaking execution, and multi-stakeholder partnership management.
