Implementation Specialist
Teachers Pay Teachers
• Partner with district leaders to provide implementation support to mid-size districts • Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation • Travel regionally to support assigned districts, including facilitating in-person professional development and conducting quarterly visits —up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year • Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to drive engagement and usage of IXL • Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps • Partner with the Sales team to effectively manage and grow customer relationships, including supporting districts piloting IXL and other pre-sales opportunities
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of experience teaching in a K-12 setting; instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech PD experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience providing professional development
- Experience supporting district implementations strongly preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators
- Excellent interpersonal skills—dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
- Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
- Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
- Strategic thinker and problem-solver

• Lead client onboarding sessions, guiding customers through the implementation journey and setting clear expectations. • Run discovery workshops to gather and define customer requirements within the agreed scope. • Own end-to-end delivery — manage your project plan in Rocketlane, keeping work on time, in scope, and within budget. • Configure and document solutions in the HSI Donesafe platform, translating requirements into effective workflows and automations. • Support data migration from legacy systems and ensure smooth integration. • Deliver client training and create clear user documentation for administrators and end users. • Test and validate configurations internally and with clients to meet quality and functional requirements. • Lead go-live activities and coordinate a seamless handover to Support. • Manage risks proactively, communicating and resolving issues early to keep projects on track. • Close projects confidently, finalising deliverables and supporting the transition to Customer Success. • Continuously improve by identifying opportunities to enhance implementation quality and customer experience. • Collaborate occasionally with Product or APAC teams on technical discussions or complex projects (2–5 hours per week flexibility).
