WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: - Serve as a domain authority for nVent Data Solutions products, including their application, for nVent functions including Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc. - Provide first-line product support by providing help to customers and colleagues using nVent Data Solutions and Electrical Connections - new products and services - Evaluate customer RFQs and build costing/quotes with technical and commercial content - Provide technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered products based on customer specifications and application requirements! - Prepare and submit quotations & proposals of non-standard products using internal CPQ and ERP systems. - Conduct product training for customers and train distributors on quoting tools. - Prepare compliance documents against customer specifications. - Lead strategic projects for product improvements, cost reduction, product consolidation, and new product development. - Review training literature for technical accuracy including installation guides and procedures, operations manuals, and online learning. - Represent nVent in industry codes and standards committees. - Provide market-specific intelligence and feedback on products and services to the commercial teams. Assist commercial teams with voice-of-customer (VOC) visits. - Plan activities together with the Sales Leader. - Identify the project in the closing phase with the sales team and provide vital technical support! - Advises their manager about all situations, developments, and occurrences that are significant for the manager or are requested by them, as well as about all upcoming decisions that require their approval. Role Description The purpose of this position is to introduce the interns to state and federal wildlife protection policy (i.e. laws and regulations addressing wildlife), and to the animal protection and environmental protection fields. Learn about and develop the skills and tools necessary to effectively advocate for wild animals through outreach, education, and policy. The dates of the internship are May 26, 2026-August 24, 2026, working approximately 20 hours per week. You will be responsible for: - Research, compile, and draft campaign materials such as reports, memos, factsheets, letters to governmental bodies, letters-to-the-editor, social media materials, or databases on laws or scientific data; - Read and draft wildlife-related media and educational materials; - Analyze and draft informational documents relating to data, public records, and policies; - Independent project (may be optional based on program needs); - Support legislative and regulatory campaigns through additional activities such as phone banking and attending hearings when possible; - Attend and participate in staff meetings and webinars; - Provide weekly updates on work progress. • Evaluate customer enquiries and scrutinise P&I drawings to understand design intent, application requirements, and optimal product fit. • Recommend Armstrong products/solutions that maximise system efficiency and performance. • Identify and select appropriate alternative products where required using company selection tools. • Engage early with sales management and field sales at key points in the customer buying journey to support design and application discussions. • Support external sales teams with proposal follow-up activities. • Participate in customer discussions on complex opportunities, including solution development, tender clarification, and benefit articulation to help secure business. • Develop proposals from base configurations, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial alignment. • Prepare high-quality quotation packages and supporting documentation, including value articulation materials. • Act as a champion of best practice in the sales process and ensure strong pre-proposal information quality. • Contribute to strategic planning (POMA) for selected opportunities in collaboration with sales managers. • Support defined sales strategies, proposal direction, and opportunity close-out activities. • Assist in compiling and reviewing sales forecasts, strategic initiatives, and key account activities when required. • Organise and participate in project and peer reviews at key stages of the proposal and sales process. • Act as gatekeeper for RSEC involvement and drive continuous improvement in proposal development practices. • Represent RSEC in regional and national sales meetings. • Conduct site and client visits where required to communicate Armstrong solutions and support integration into customer specifications and schedules.

• The Principal Application Engineer at Bloom is the primary driver of complex technical sales activities, developing customer relationships and requirements for the implementation of distributed generation products and solutions. • Use in-depth product and industry knowledge to provide technical expertise to the customer through technical sales presentations and detailed customer engagements while developing strategic requirements documentation and product solutions to meet those requirements. • Create conceptual designs and implement specifications to demonstrate the feasibility of Bloom’s solution. • Must have experience working independently in a competitive sales environment with a focus on eliminating technical barriers for complex energy projects while representing a highly technical product or service related to the power industry. • Responsible for supporting quota attainment by providing technical support and expertise directly to customers in support of sales objectives. • Define customer requirements and establish product specifications for customer solutions, producing project-specific contract inputs as needed. • Technically support the Sales team with Bid and Proposal writing, understanding and overcoming customer technical objections and securing approval to proceed with key project parameters.
