Job Description

Senior Lead ABAP Developer

Veritas Prime

• Define technical architecture and extensibility standards for ABAP development across S/4HANA, ECP, and SAP BTP environments. • Lead the design and governance of clean-core extensions using ABAP objects, Webservices, UI5/Fiori, CDS Views, reports, BAdIs, and enhancements. • Architect and review integration design ECP, S/4HANA, and 3rd party applications. • Serve as the technical lead for ABAP projects, overseeing development quality, code reviews, and performance optimization. • Mentor mid-level developers and collaborate closely with solution architects, integration leads, and functional consultants.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive SAP ABAP development experience including S/4HANA and Payroll environments.
  • Strong command of ABAP RAP model, CDS Views, CDS views, Webservices (SOAP, REST, OData), UI5/Fiori, and Enhancement Framework.
  • Deep technical understanding of HCM ABAP, SAP Payroll posting logic, and integrations with ECP (or SAP HMC).
  • Deep technical understanding of SAP modules FI/CO, SD, and MM.
  • Experience designing ABAP solutions for SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) with CPI or Point-to-Point replication.
  • Excellent documentation, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • SAP Certification in ABAP for S/4HANA or SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Extensions.
  • Experience with SAP BTP, Event Mesh, or UI5/Fiori development.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in SAP Cloud ALM.
