Vice President of Engineering

• Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals, focusing on innovation, growth, scalability, and quality. • Drive the architectural design, including dependent services, service interactions, and policies • Simplify and improve the cost/benefit of a function/service/architecture strategy • Experience working with or managing DevOps and technical infrastructure disciplines • Align engineering initiatives with business priorities, ensuring cross functional collaboration with Product and Support teams. • Build, lead, and optimize a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, address technical challenges, and ensure our solutions meet their requirements. • Work closely with product management, customer success, professional services and customer support teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and client expectations. • Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our software solutions. • Ensure that our solutions adhere to relevant regulatory requirements (SOC2 Type 2) and industry standards, particularly those specific to government and public sector clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience as a senior engineering and QA leader, preferably in a SaaS B2G environment.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering leaders (team leads, managers and directors)
- Experience with data engineering and architecture highly desired
- Experience leading geographically dispersed engineering teams of 30+ people across multiple time zones
- Strong background in software development, with expertise in modern programming languages, cloud technologies, and scalable architectures.
- Experience building AI solutions at scale
- Demonstrated experience in leading remote and global engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
