Job Description

External Communications – Media Manager

Vericast

• Identify media opportunities aligned to company priorities and approved messaging • Lead earned media strategy and manage the PR agency relationship • Manage the paid media plan to amplify announcements, thought leadership, and high-credibility content • Execute external communications in alignment with the corporate narrative • Create and maintain foundational website content that reflects the approved corporate narrative • Prepare subject-matter experts for media interviews, speaking engagements, and public forums • Partner closely with Content and Creative within Marketing Strategy & Growth, Legal and Compliance

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related focus, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business (Preferred)
  • 7-10 years of experience in external communications, media relations, or related fields (Required)
  • Experience managing PR agencies and external partners
  • Experience creating a paid media plan and overseeing paid media budgets
  • Strong editorial judgment and experience supporting executive communications
  • Comfort operating in regulated or high-visibility environments
  • Financial Institution and/or B2B experience preferred
